Psyllium is a natural source of fiber and is therefore often used to regulate bowel movements. It is used to increase the viscosity of intestinal contents in cases of diarrhea, as it normalizes the duration of intestinal transit and thus the frequency of bowel movements. It is also used to treat periodic constipation and when light bowel movements are particularly recommended, for example, in cases of hemorrhoids (anal nodes and piles) during pregnancy. As an expectorant and anti-inflammatory, psyllium is applied as a coating in the treatment of peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal irritation, and irritable bowel syndrome.
It is also recommended to take it during weight loss treatments,
because it reduces fat absorption, reduces hunger and affects metabolism.

It is used:
