Shake the bottle vigorously for at least 30 seconds before consumption until you get a graphite-colored suspension. The prepared solution should be consumed within 3 minutes. After a longer period, shake again for at least 30 seconds. The color saturation of the ready-to-eat preparation may vary depending on the product batch (from light gray to graphite or black).

Measure the appropriate portion and administer directly into the mouth. The package contains a dosing syringe for measuring the appropriate portion (0.1 ml = 2 mg iron). When used on exclusively milk-fed infants, it is recommended to administer the product approximately 15 minutes before or 2 hours after administration. After each use of the product, the syringe should be thoroughly rinsed with lukewarm water without detergent.
