Each tablet contains 1000 mg of vitamin C in the form of Ester C®. This supplement is a source of a special form of vitamin C that is soluble in both water and fat. It also contains citrus bioflavonoids, rosehip, rutin, and acerola. These ingredients naturally and actively enhance the effects of vitamin C. Ester C® is patented and contains active metabolites of vitamin C (L-threonic, L-lixonic, and L-xylonic acids), which significantly enhance the activity of vitamin C, enabling its unique action in the 2-2-4 system compared to regular vitamin C. Solgar Vitamin C Ester C 500 mg tablets are non-acidic (vitamin C is buffered with calcium), meaning they have a neutral pH of 6.7. This form of vitamin C is gentle on the digestive system and the kidneys, even in higher doses.
