Herbs used in Indus Valley herbal dyes
Henna bush (Lawsonia
Inermis): is an excellent basic dye that has been used for centuries as a cosmetic, especially in hair care. The dried leaves contain an active coloring component, lawsone, which imparts colors from orange to red to the hair.
Indigofera Tinctoria: Vat dye obtained from dried indigo leaves; contains indigo carmine, which is used to dye hair
green to blue.
Cassia Ariculata: The tannins in the bark and leaves help to maintain the color of

EcoCert is a French organic product certification organization established in 1991. Although it initially focused on promoting organic farming, it has expanded its certification scope over time to include cosmetics, cleaning products, and textiles. To receive the EcoCert certificate, a cosmetic product must meet strict requirements:

• The composition of the product must consist of at least 95% plant-based ingredients and be of organic origin,
• at least 10% of the ingredients must be organic and certified,
• the ingredients of the product and the product itself must not be: contaminated,
  are exposed to harmful radiation, do not contain nitrosamines, are not genetically modified or tested on animals,
• the packaging must be biodegradable or recyclable,
• The manufacturing process must be transparent and clean,
• the company must manage its waste and energy consumption in an environmentally friendly manner.

Because Indus Valley Hennas are 100% certified organic herbs, this product has been awarded the EcoCert certificate.

Indus Valley Organic Hennas meet all criteria established by the United States Department of Agriculture and have received USDA organic certification. It is recommended to test on a lock of hair – detailed instructions can be found in the package insert in Polish.

Add the required amount of Indus Valley Henna to warm water to create a thick paste. Dampen your hair with water and apply the paste strand by strand using a hair comb. Leave the paste on your hair for 30 to 45 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with water.

Security
For external use only. It is not recommended to inhale the color powder, to color damaged scalp, or if you are allergic to any of the color's ingredients.

It is recommended to protect your eyes, clothing, furniture and absorbents from the paint.
Materials. If the product is spilled, rinse immediately with cold water.
If paint gets into your eyes, rinse immediately. Remove contact lenses before rinsing with water. If in doubt, we recommend conducting a skin sensitivity test to ensure the product does not cause allergies (see package insert for details).
