Vitamin D

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that performs a variety of important functions in the body: It contributes to the maintenance of healthy bones and teeth, helps maintain normal calcium levels in the blood, supports the proper function of muscles and the immune system, helps ensure the proper absorption/utilization of calcium and phosphorus, and is involved in the process of cell division.
