Bone tissue is a dynamic structure that is constantly in motion; it is in the process of being reconstructed. Some bone cells (osteoclasts) break down bone tissue by releasing calcium, while others (osteoblasts) form new bone tissue by, among other things, incorporating calcium into the bones. It is important to maintain a balance between these two processes, especially because bone tissue breakdown intensifies with age. Maintaining the balance of bone metabolism is possible by supplementing the diet with appropriate nutrients.
Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of healthy bones and teeth, as well as the proper absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus. It also helps maintain proper calcium levels in the blood and is involved in the process of cell division. Vitamin D also supports proper muscle function.
Like vitamin D, vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of healthy bones. The human body is unable to synthesize vitamin K2 itself, so the need for this vitamin is met primarily through diet and, to a lesser extent, through synthesis by intestinal bacteria. The preparation D-Vitum forte 2000 IU K2 contains vitamin K2 - menaquinone-7 (MK-7). This is important because this chemical form of vitamin K is involved in bone metabolism.
D-Vitum forte 2000 IU K2 contains linseed oil with a high content of omega-3 fatty acids, including alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). Alpha-linolenic acid helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 2 g of ALA.

INGREDIENTS
Cold-pressed linseed oil (Linum usitatissimum), gelatin (shell component), menaquinone (vitamin K2), cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), emulsifier: polyoxyethylene sorbitan monolaurate (polysorbate 20).

APPLICATION
The preparation is recommended for healthy people adults under 75 years of age to supplement their diet with vitamins D3 and K2 and omega-3 fatty acids.
