DESCRIPTION

Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of healthy bones and teeth and supports the proper function of muscles and the immune system. It supports the proper absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus and is also involved in the process of cell division. The body produces vitamin D through skin synthesis under the influence of UV radiation from the sun. However, in summer, this synthesis is limited by the use of cosmetics with UV filters, and elderly and pregnant women are advised to avoid excessive sun exposure. In autumn and winter, the synthesis of vitamin D in the skin is limited due to reduced sunlight. In people over 65, there is also a significant decrease in vitamin D synthesis in the skin.

The product contains linseed oil with a high content of omega-3 fatty acids, including alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). Alpha-linolenic acid helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effects are achieved with a daily intake of 2 g of ALA.
INGREDIENTS
Cold-pressed linseed oil with high linolenic content (Linum usitatissimum), gelatin (shell component), cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), emulsifier: polyoxyethylene sorbitan monolaurate (polysorbate 20)

1 capsule (1 serving) contains 50 µg (2000 IU, 1000%*) vitamin D3 and 497 mg linseed oil, of which 248 mg alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3)
