Colfarm Sodium Butyrate is a food for special medical purposes for adults.
Contains sodium butyrate in the form of micro-pellets with extended release of the active ingredient, encapsulated in acid-resistant cellulose capsules.
The butyric acid contained in the capsules is a short-chain fatty acid; it is an energy source for the intestinal epithelium and has a positive effect on the digestive tract.

Indicated for the dietary management of the following conditions:
Irritable bowel syndrome
Stomach pain and bloating
Acute diarrhea of various causes
Persistent constipation
Inflammatory bowel diseases
Disturbed intestinal flora, e.g., during and after antibiotic therapy.

Recommended consumption:
Adults: Take 1 capsule orally once daily.
The capsule should be swallowed whole with lukewarm or cold water during a meal.

Warnings and precautions:
should be taken under medical supervision. The duration of use should be discussed with a doctor.
The product is not intended for parenteral use.
The product is not a complete food. It is not suitable as the sole source of nutrition.
