Yerba mate, also called mate tea, erva mate, or caá mate, is a Paraguayan beverage known for its weight loss benefits, lowering "bad" cholesterol, improving circulation, and energizing properties. Yerba mate first came to Europe in the 17th century thanks to the Jesuits, but only now is it gaining the recognition and public awareness it deserves. Yerba mate is made from dried, ground leaves and sticks of the Paraguayan holly tree, which boasts high levels of caffeine, vitamins A, B, and C, and mineral salts such as calcium, magnesium, zinc, silicon, iron, and potassium.
SOTI Natural are artisanal products made using the cold brew method (brewing by adding cold or room-temperature water). This produces a different flavor than traditional brewing. Thanks to the cold brew method (a 50-minute brewing process adjusted to 15 brewing parameters), the infusions contain the maximum levels of antioxidants and polyphenols.
