Kaneka's Japanese Ubiquinol is the reduced form of coenzyme Q10. More than 90% of all coenzyme Q10 stored in the human body is in the form of ubiquinol. This is the biologically active form—it does not require conversion in the body (i.e., the opposite of ubiquinone, which the body must convert (reduce) to ubiquinol) and is fully absorbed by the body. Furthermore, ubiquinol provides a greater and faster increase in coenzyme Q10 concentration than ubiquinone. Kaneka's product is produced through a natural yeast fermentation process. Coenzyme Q10 is a vitamin-like compound produced in the body to ensure the proper functioning of the mitochondria, where energy is generated. Coenzyme Q10 is actively involved in the energy production process, which is necessary for the correct phosphorylation of ADP to ATP (phosphorylation is the process of ATP formation). ATP, or adenosine triphosphate, is the primary energy carrier in the body. ATP is the compound that provides muscles with the energy needed for contraction. An increased need for coenzyme Q10 can therefore occur in physically active people, under stress, or with age.

INGREDIENTS
Ubiquinol, linseed oil, capsule shell: gelatin, purified water, humectant; glycerin, color; locust bean gum, beeswax, antioxidant: sunflower lecithin (GMO-free), d-alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E).

APPLICATION
One capsule daily. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. This product should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet. This product is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
