Cascara Sagrada is an herb listed in the American Pharmacopoeia XXII, where it is described as the dried bark of the Rhcimnus purshiana tree found in the northeast Pacific.
It has excellent laxative properties while being very gentle. It causes only mild worm movements of the small intestine. Therefore, it is unlikely to cause side effects (characteristic of other laxatives) such as addiction. After prolonged use, the intestines function normally, as Cascara Sagrada has a tonic effect. The herb also has a soothing effect on all nerves it comes into contact with.
Cascara Sagrada contains B vitamins, calcium, potassium, and manganese. This remedy stimulates the functioning of the stomach, liver, and pancreas and counteracts the inactivity of the colon in cases of constipation. It is good for the bile ducts, facilitates bowel movements, and has an anti-inflammatory effect.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
