The main ingredient for this dish is, of course, beans. It's worth noting that beans are an excellent source of complete protein. They also contain large amounts of vitamins such as vitamin C, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, folic acid, and vitamins A, E, and K. Beans also contain large amounts of phosphorus, potassium, and calcium. In addition to the beans, the basis of the dish is tomatoes, which are an excellent source of sodium and potassium. We've replaced the sausage and bacon with our own vegetable protein, which, along with carefully selected spices and other ingredients, makes up the whole of this unique dish. The dish came to Poland directly from France after the Napoleonic Wars. Polish soldiers at the front ate the beans there and decided to give it a typically Polish touch by adding sausage and bacon. Later, this dish spread throughout the country and continues to enjoy unwavering popularity today, becoming an integral part of traditional Polish cuisine.
