The recipe for onion syrup has been known for generations. Raw onions contain minerals such as zinc, sodium, potassium, magnesium, iron, calcium, and phosphorus. It also contains large amounts of vitamins C, B, PP, and provitamin A. Thanks to essential oils, onion syrup has a bactericidal effect. Most importantly, it cleanses the upper respiratory tract and reduces both dry and wet coughs.
