PREPARATION
At home, we prepare sprouts as follows: Take a flat plate, line it with cheesecloth or other water-absorbing material. Sprinkle a single layer of seeds on the cheesecloth and pour water, preferably boiled and lukewarm water, over the seeds. The water should be filled so that the cheesecloth remains wet at all times. Place the seeds in a warm and preferably dark place. Depending on the type of germinated plant, sprouts will appear after 2-4 days. For coarse seeds such as peas, soybeans, chickpeas, etc., or seeds with shells such as pumpkin and sunflower, cut the sprouts before eating and use the small seeds whole.
