Buckwheat honey – the nectar used to make this honey comes from buckwheat flowers. It is dark in color, often brown, and turns almost black under the influence of light. Crystallization produces hard, thick crystals suspended in the honey plasma. It has a rather pungent odor and a similar taste, sometimes even burning. It is the only honey that contains large amounts of easily absorbed magnesium, which is why it is recommended in the treatment of cancer. The use of buckwheat honey for the prevention of atherosclerosis brings good results and also supports the functioning of the heart muscle. It can be recommended for vision, hearing, and memory impairment.
