Diosmin dietary supplement contains 450 mg diosmin and 50 mg hesperidin in 2 capsules without any additives.
Diosmin is an organic chemical compound classified as a glycosylflavonoid. It was isolated from citrus fruits. Diosmin is a flavonoid that has a positive effect on venous protection. It has anti-inflammatory properties and can prevent swelling. It can positively influence blood return from the venous system of the lower extremities and improve lymphatic flow.
Hesperidin is a yellow pigment belonging to the citrus flavonoids. It has a strong antioxidant effect. Furthermore, it facilitates the absorption of vitamin C. It influences the proper functioning of the circulatory system and strengthens blood vessels. Hesperidin occurs naturally in citrus fruits, in the white pulp of the peel of oranges and lemons, and in smaller amounts in vegetables, apricots, blackberries, chokeberries, and cherries.
Pullulan is obtained through a natural fermentation process. No animal-based raw materials are used in its production, making the capsule suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
