Psyllium is a widely cultivated plant whose seeds produce large amounts of fiber (mainly insoluble). However, in practice, Płesznik Babka has not received the widespread use and recognition it deserves in Poland. In southwestern European countries, Płesznik Babka is used as a mucilage that supports bowel function and bowel movements. It is recommended for the elderly, pregnant women, and children. Psyllium is gentle, effective, and harmless.
The plantain husk works by expanding the seeds in the presence of water, producing significant amounts of mucus. Experiments have shown that the mucus content in the scales is approximately 10-15%. In the presence of water, the scales can expand to 20 times their volume. Taking psyllium husks causes the scales to expand in the intestine, stimulating peristalsis. Their mucous consistency facilitates the excretion of feces. This mechanism is very effective and does not lead to habituation.
An additional beneficial effect is the action of aukubin contained in the skins of Babka Płesznik. This raw material also contains inventin and emulsin, protein, starch, 3% fatty oil, and some tannin compounds.
INGREDIENTS

Fiber powder with psyllium husks, vegetable capsule shell (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), anti-caking agent: vegetable magnesium stearate.

Amount per daily dose (2 capsules):
Psyllium husk powder - 1000 mg

USE
2 capsules daily.
Best taken with a meal or as directed.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. This product cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Pregnant women, nursing mothers and sick people should consult a doctor before taking the preparation.
