Cretan rockrose (Cistus creticus) is widespread from the Mediterranean to the Black Sea. The ingredients contained in the puree help cleanse the body of toxins and free oxygen radicals.

• Phenolic acids
• Essential oil - contains: Manoyl Oxide (Manjol), Alpha-Cadinene, Delta-Cadinene, Bulnesol, Viridiflorol, Ledol, Alpha-Copaene, Beta-Selinene, Cubebene, and 13-Epi-Manoyl Oxide

Preparation and Storage:

The dosage depends on several factors: age, health condition, or occupation. Generally, 1 heaped teaspoon per cup is poured with boiling water and left to steep for about 8-10 minutes. Cistus should be used for at least 4 weeks; sporadic use has no measurable benefit. A Cistus infusion can also be used for gargling and skin washing.
