The absorbent pads in the VIVICOT BIO series are made from selected raw materials and are certified organic. They come into contact with no chemicals during cotton cultivation and harvesting, nor during the production of sanitary pads. This ensures that organic cotton remains white, clean, and pristine. During production, it is treated only with hydrogen peroxide.
The avoidance of bleaching agents such as chlorine and other harsh bleaching agents ensures that the fibers of these sanitary pads are hypoallergenic. This means that their contact with the skin does not cause allergies, irritations, or dermatitis. The cotton obtained and processed in this way retains maximum absorption and natural softness and delicacy.
The VIVICOT BIO product line is the first Italian sanitary pad that is fully biodegradable and compostable. These are highly ethical products that help reduce waste and increase the use of renewable resources. In addition to being biodegradable, the sanitary pads are also fully compostable at home. This means they can be placed in a household composter after use. The same applies to the top sheet, which looks like foil but is actually made of cornstarch. The cardboard is recycled and can be recycled.
