يتم عصر زيت عباد الشمس البكر الممتاز البارد من بذور عباد الشمس غير المحمصة والمختارة بعناية والمفحوصة.
يتميز برائحته ونكهته العطرة المميزة لبذور عباد الشمس، بالإضافة إلى لونه الأصفر. من خلال عملية العصر "الباردة"، تبقى الأحماض الدهنية وفيتامين E الموجودة في هذا الزيت دون تغيير. هذا الزيت منتج طبيعي، ويتميز بمحتواه العالي من الدهون غير المشبعة.
قد تختلف أجزاء الزيت المتتالية قليلاً عن بعضها البعض في اللون والرائحة والطعم. هذه خصائص لا تؤثر على تركيب الزيت. تحت تأثير درجات الحرارة المنخفضة، قد تترسب الشموع الطبيعية من الزيت. هذه ظاهرة طبيعية تعتمد على درجة الحرارة وهي قابلة للعكس تمامًا.
