يتم استخراج زيت جوز الهند البكر المضغوط على البارد من لب جوز الهند المختار بعناية والمفحوص. يتميز برائحة ونكهة جوز الهند اللطيفة ولونه الأبيض/الشفاف. يتغير حالته الفيزيائية بين السائل (عند درجة حرارة أعلى من +24°م) والصلب (عند درجة حرارة أقل من +24°م) حسب درجة حرارة البيئة المحيطة. بفضل طريقة العصر "الباردة"، تبقى الأحماض الدهنية الموجودة في هذا الزيت دون تغيير وفي شكلها الأصلي. هذا الزيت منتج طبيعي. قد تختلف الأجزاء المتتالية من الزيت قليلاً في اللون والرائحة والطعم. هذه خصائص طبيعية ولا تؤثر على تركيبة الزيت.
