يتم استخراج زيت جوز الهند البكر المكبوس على البارد من لب جوز الهند المختار بعناية والمختبر. يتميز برائحة ونكهة جوز الهند اللطيفة ولونه الأبيض/عديم اللون. يتغير حالته الفيزيائية بين السائل (عند درجة حرارة أعلى من +24°م) والصلب (عند درجة حرارة أقل من +24°م) حسب درجة حرارة البيئة المحيطة. بفضل طريقة العصر "على البارد"، تبقى الأحماض الدهنية الموجودة في هذا الزيت دون تغيير وفي شكلها الأصلي. هذا الزيت منتج طبيعي، وقد تختلف الأجزاء المتتالية منه قليلاً في اللون والرائحة والنكهة. هذه خصائص
