Den skiller seg ut med en typisk rapsaroma og en særegen smak samt en ravfarget farge. Takket være "kald"-pressmetoden forblir fettsyrene i denne oljen uendret. Denne oljen er et naturprodukt og kjennetegnes av et høyt innhold av omega-3-fettsyrer.
Påfølgende deler av oljen kan lett avvike fra hverandre: farge, lukt og smak. Dette er egenskaper som ikke påvirker oljens sammensetning.
