After use, dispose of in the composter or organic waste - do not separate with plastic. It decomposes in the soil about 6 months, in industrial composting plants about 6 weeks. It is totally safe for the environment as it is made from sugar cane. It is not covered with polyethylene, so it is biodegradable.
The packaging is also made of compostable film.
