DESCRIPTION
Amaranth flour - is made from the seeds of the scarlet (amaranth) the older cultivated plants.
Suitable for cakes, cookies, sweet and savory pancakes, pancakes, pasta, flake making, crackers and as a valuable bread addition.
In baked goods that don't require proofing, you can use amaranth flour on its own. In these "rising" breads, it must be mixed with another flour.
Amaranth flour gives baked goods a slightly nutty flavor.
