Raw linseed oil is pressed from carefully selected and tested golden flaxseeds of local origin. The oil is cold-pressed, which preserves the plant's 100% natural composition. Furthermore, the fatty acids it contains remain unchanged. Linseed oil is a product that can be considered our Polish superfood. Its valuable properties have been appreciated since ancient times. This oil is pressed from the seeds of the common flaxseed. It has a yellow color, a pungent odor, and a distinctive flavor.
It is a virgin oil, containing no artificial colors or preservatives. It is pressed in small batches and packaged in dark glass bottles. This oil is a rich source of essential polyunsaturated fatty acids (EFAs), which our bodies cannot produce on their own. Therefore, we must obtain them through our diet. EFAs are well known: OMEGA-3, OMEGA-6, and OMEGA-9. Their deficiencies in our body are the cause of many dysfunctions. This oil is characterized by the perfect ratio of omega fatty acids for our body. Omega-3 and omega-6 in the correct ratio have a positive effect on the cardiovascular system. These polyunsaturated fatty acids influence the condition of the membranes of all cells in our body. They also participate in the synthesis of many processes that affect the circulatory system, its regulation, and regeneration.
In addition, linseed oil has a positive effect on the functioning of internal organs and boosts immunity. It helps relieve skin problems, supports skin hydration, and increases its resistance to external environmental influences. It also contains a high percentage of vitamin E, an antioxidant. It is called the vitamin of youth because it slows down the aging process and, by removing free radicals from our body, has a positive effect on the entire body and protects it from many diseases. This vitamin impairs the proper functioning of vision, and its deficiency can increase susceptibility to infections.
Dietary flaxseed oil can be used in salads, breads, smoothies, and fruit smoothies. However, it's important to remember that this oil should not be heated to preserve its nutritional value. Flaxseed oil can also be used externally. It's an ingredient in many cosmetic products, but we can also apply it directly to the skin to lubricate and massage the skin and hair. It helps relieve skin problems, supports skin hydration, and increases its resistance to external environmental influences. It moisturizes hair and helps prevent split ends.
INTERESTS
The first information about linseed oil dates back to around 650 BC. Hippocrates recommended the use of this oil for problems with the digestive system.
Linseed oil is the main ingredient of the "Budwig Diet." Its name comes from the German biochemist Johanna Budwig. Oils with a high linolenic content are often referred to as "Budwig."
Linseed oil is used in painting to protect the surface of paintings.

Valuable omega-3 acids are very unstable and easily oxidize if the products containing them are not stored under proper conditions. They should be refrigerated, preferably in dark glass and protected from light. Oils that are low in linolenic acid, meaning they contain a very low proportion of omega-3 fatty acids and a very high proportion of omega-6 fatty acids, unfortunately do not have the same health-promoting properties as the linolenic version.
STORAGE
This oil must be stored in the refrigerator, tightly closed with a stopper.
