Help4Skin Wound Healing contains an acidic carbomer stabilized by carnosine, the primary peptide naturally occurring in the skin. It acts as an occlusive agent on dry wounds such as abrasions and surgical wounds, inhibiting evaporation and reducing fluid loss through the epidermis.
Carnosine buffers acidic polymers and therefore acts as an antioxidant. Carbomer absorbs excess fluid from wet, exuding wounds and cools and softens the contact surface with the plaster and/or dressing. It does not stick to the wound.

How to attach?

Closed wounds:

• clean and disinfect the treated area,
• apply the preparation to the wound without touching it with the applicator tip,
• If necessary, apply a bandage or plaster.

Open wounds:

• Clean and disinfect the wound,
• Dry thoroughly and CAREFULLY with sterile gauze,
• Apply a thick layer of the preparation (0.5-0.75 cm) to the wound without touching it with the tip of the applicator,
• apply a plaster or bandage,
• change the gel and the plaster or dressing at least once a day,
• Reduce the amount of the preparation applied if a scab appears on the wound.

CAUTION ! In case of burns, wash with water first, then proceed with the next steps.
