Potato flour is one of the culinary staples. It is produced by mechanically separating the starch granules from other potato components. Flour has a very wide range of uses, both in the kitchen and beyond. It is excellent as a thickener for sauces, potato dishes (of which there is no shortage in Polish cuisine), soups, and for baking cakes. It is also useful in bread baking, as its properties delay staling. You can also use potato flour jelly as a protective agent for digestive problems. But flour also has other applications. It is excellent as a powder in cosmetics or in laundry starch.
