DESCRIPTION

The product contains a blend of tocopherols. In addition to the natural oily form of D-alpha-tocoderol, which possesses 100% of the biological activity of natural vitamin E, there is also a naturally occurring blend of tocopherols. Vitamin E is the term used to refer to eight different compounds that fall into two categories: tocopherols and tocotrienols. Each category is further divided into alpha, beta, gamma, and delta. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin; it is produced only in plants, and its natural source is wheat germ oil, whole grains, and green leafy vegetables. Humans and animals cannot synthesize vitamin E, so it must be obtained from food.
