Rapeseed oil is rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K. The most important property of this cold-pressed oil is its content of omega-3 and omega-6 monounsaturated fatty acids, found in an ideal ratio of 2:1. Both acids have a positive effect on the functioning of the heart muscle, the entire circulatory system, kidney function, and the condition of the skin. Rapeseed oil is a source of antioxidants and polyphenols. The oleic acid contained in the oil helps lower cholesterol levels in the body.
Rapeseed oil can be used in salads, cooked vegetables, dressings.
