Cold-pressed pumpkin seed oil has a dark green color and a nutty flavor. It should be consumed cold to retain its beneficial properties. It should not be used for frying.
Pumpkin seed oil is a source of omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids. This oil also provides, among other nutrients, phytosterols, squalene, vitamins A, C, D, E, and B vitamins, as well as zinc, potassium, selenium, and beta-carotene. It is easily digestible, contains essential fatty acids, and is resistant to oxidation. It also improves metabolism. Because pumpkin seed oil contains phytosterols, it helps lower blood cholesterol levels and reduce allergy symptoms.
Pumpkin seed oil is also used in cosmetics. Massaged into the skin, it moisturizes, firms, and supports regeneration processes.

RECOMMENDED STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store in a cool, dry, and dark place. Once opened, store at 4-10°C for no longer than 3-4 weeks. A natural precipitate may form, or cloudiness is a natural phenomenon and does not affect the nutritional value of the oil.
