We recommend letting the candle burn until the wax on the surface has completely melted, i.e., forming a so-called \"pool.\" - This usually takes 3 to 4 hours. For smaller candles about 2-3 hours. This prevents the phenomenon of \"tunneling,\" which can lead to faulty burning and reduced performance of the candle.
